They were the first settlers of Maytown, Lancaster Co., PA. They lived at W. Donegal, Maytown, moved to York Co. from 1774 to 1780. 33 John A. Blazer, in "Blazer Family Archives (B-426)", 1993, states that they lived in Donegal, Lancaster Co., PA (had land there as early as 1724, 132 acres & a still house. In 1750 he acquired 143 acres from Thomas & Richard Penn. On the 1800 tax list in Island Twp.. In 1769 or 1767 he deeded land for a church. The church was known as United Church of Christ of Mount Joy, Donegal Church or Blaser's Reformed Church. In 1743-5, it was built for the general use of German speaking people. In 1744-52, there was some confusion over land ownership. In 1752, some Reformed withdrew opposing the Moravian influence and built a church on Blaser's farm southwest of Elizabethtown, Donegal Twp. In 1815, land was deeded in Elizabethtown and the congregation moved to a site south of the present church. In 1764, land acquired Feb 11, 1753 was sold to Hans Neesly.
